Nagaland Tourism

Nagaland the land of the Naga people, is situated in North east India. It has border with Assam on west, Arunachal Pradesh in north, Manipur on south and international border with Myanmar in south. Blue mountains, gorges, valleys, diverse flora and fauna makes Nagaland a beautiful place for tourism.
Domestic Indian tourists require an Inner Line Permit to visit Nagaland. This is available from The Deputy Residential Commissioner, Nagaland House in Kolkata, New Delhi, as well as The Deputy Commissioner in Dimapur, Guwahati and Kohima. Foreign tourists must register with the Foreigner’s Registration Officer (FRO) of the District they visit or the nearest Police Station within 24 hours of their arrival.

Kohima blessed with breath taking natural beauty, is the capital of Nagaland, is situated on the hills in kohima district of Nnagaland. The week long Hornbill festival during the month of December is one of the best attractions of Nagaland where you can see all the ethnic tribes of Nagaland showing their best of culture.
